The MixieBike Built with folding bike ideals, compact size - the MixieBike is a travelers bike. In that its small easy to carry around and that it can take on a crowded situation with ease. For Example: The Ferndale food trucks were in town. There was a bunch of people getting lunch, shopping Rustbelt, There was hot dog vendors. the alley was pretty much closed for event. Rode the MixieBike in the crowd and it was awesome! It didn’t feel bulky and I didnt feel the need to walk the bike. kept good pace. Its a fixed gear, single speed setup. There is a Freewheel single-speed built on the flipside of the hub. The freewheel is good for long hauls. Rolls 20inch wheels, low rolling resistance, easy to pedal deep-v rims. Gear to wheel ratio is perfect for cruising, that and it makes slow track-stands super easy. Quick and light steering. Cool set of brakes for better maneuvering in tight spots. Origin8 Folding Bikes

Thats one of the shop regulars, Mike (on the left) showing a customer how to use the Origin8 Folding Bike. The folding bikes are pretty sweet. They come in a couple models, one is the single speed model see photo, the other is the fully geared 7-speed model.

Origin8 did a great job with these. The styling’s cool, the frame design is classy and strong, quick easy folding right down to the pedals, that and it’s all at a good price. Origin8 does a great job at making high quality parts affordable to the customer.

The R&D that went into this bike is noticeable immediately, it totally rides like a chopper should ride. Basically the handlebars are at about shoulder height, when you pedal you push forward with your feet instead of down and around with traditional upright bikes - it geometry almost lifts you off your bum when you ride; it’s really interesting. And its pretty fast too! The Chopper comes with a cool 3-speed internal gear hub - the range is actually perfect. Lower gear gets you going and the top gear is for when you really want to get your cruise on. The high speeds will impress you! It features a lightweight steel frame, solid 4-and-a-half foot double crown chrome fork, disc brake up front and a coaster brake at the rear.
