Look for the Jump The Boarder Ride from Detroit Thursday
Repost from December 2010:
Jon doing a video interview for CMNtv Local Public Access
CMNtv is the local public access station. Every 4 months CMN hosts classes for all local residents interested in broadcast media. Every semester the class puts together a TV show and broadcasts it; this was one of those broadcasts. Pretty cool though? $75 bucks gets CMN students a chance at the editing room floor, switchboard sound and lighting, all the cameras, equipment etc.
Anyone’s interested in broadcasting Public Access TV Shows, visit CMNtv’s Website
The Station is located in Troy and serves most of SE Michigan, CH.18

Detroit Bike City 2012
Wow! Super cool event! There were about a 1,000 people who showed up for the first annual Detroit Bike City Expo. Around 40 vendors were displaying their latest products for the upcoming season; vendors like Velocity, Tree Fort Bikes, Corktown Cycles, American Cycle and Fitness, Grand Rapids’ Bike Manufacturer Slingshot. It was totally fun and everyone was having a good time. There was a auction, a raffle for some cool bikes, BMX performances - it was totally kick ass! And bunch of Clothing designers were selling their threads as well as urban artists selling their work. Todd Scott with the Michigan Trails & Greenway Alliance was there, Erika Fulk and the Critrium Detroit City. Exciting day! Looking foward to next year.
