Oct. 5th & 6th “DLECTRICITY” in Midtown Detroit

DLECTRICITY is a new contemporary light art festival in the City of Detroit. For two nights, the historic architecture of Midtown will become the canvas for local, national, and international artists to display their cutting edge works of art. Over 35 projects will be shown including video projection, 3D video mapping, lasers, light sculpture, interactive design, performance, and more! Cyclists will extend over the entire footprint of the event.

The Bike Light Workshop begins 5pm on Saturday @ Wayne State Parking Lot #54 map link DLECTRICITY is hosting a workshop geared towards Detroit’s growing bike community. In all though its a big event with a ton of local flair and spotlight. Lot of cool stuff for everyone, all ages! There’s going to be a parade that starts at 7PM (starts at the bike workshop) 3.75 mile loop encouraging workshop and festival attendees to light up Midtown!!
